I have mixed feelings but I really did enjoy the book! It's very simply written and the author paints the picture of each moment well. The revelation at the end of the book can be seen from a mile away, but the journey to get there was really enjoyable for me. I also loved getting to read from the perspective of an octopus. Terminei a leitura pensando: nossas escolhas não determinam quem somos, o importante é o que fazemos delas.

We really need the ability to give 1/2 ⭐️ because this one would have been a 4.5 for me. The only thing keeping it from being a five was I felt like the Knit-wits could have been stronger characters. Overall it is one of the better books I have read this year. I will definitely be recommending this one to anyone who cares to listen. Who knew a grouchy old octopus would be so lovable!
