It took some time to get used to the structure of this story. Once I got to 30% into the book, I had a clear picture of the structure and it became easier to read. The character development is amazing and I was not expecting the ending of the book.

A novel with three simultaneous plots: a book about a murder mystery whilst the narrator is writing about a murder mystery while a beta reader writes letters to the author adding to the mystery. For the most part this meta fictional approach works.

Once the initial idea takes hold of how the author is going to tell the story it becomes easier to settle into how to read and absorb the plot reveal.

I really loved this book. I enjoyed the unique style that the author used to write this story. The story itself was engaging, kept you interested and still left some mystery for the reader until the end.
There were some loose ends I would have liked addressed and a plot hole that bothered me but it was small enough that it didn’t ruin the story if you didn’t think much about it. 😅 (The 15 years doesn’t make sense, iykyk.)
