I had a rough time with this book - I didn't see the point of all the detail...seemed like a lot of words for no reason and bouncing around for no reason. In the end I went with it was ok. I have the next book but I am going to have to wait and think if I really want to read it. I must be missing something sense it seems so many people liked this book.

Such a different book from my normal reads. Very intriguing but also dark. It took me a while to get into it, but I really enjoyed it once I did and I'm on to Book #2! A step outside my YA escapism :)

This book starts off rather slowly but is well worth plugging through. If you are not familiar with Sweden, Swedish economy, or Swedish politics you may be discouraged at first. However the story itself is amazing with unexpected twists and turns. Hang in there and you will not be disappointed.
Dark and twisted and a hard beginning to get through, but overall a dang good book.
