Loved it as much as last time. I do see the flaws of this and get how it might not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed the book. I still stand by my old review, but somehow I had completely forgotten the ending, so it came as a bit of a surprise! Would highly recommend the audiobook, the narration makes it feel like a movie. Rating at 4 stars, same as last time. ✨

Of course, I do. I love a good romance book. And this was just perfect. I felt it was actually more than a romance, it had a lot of meanings which was beautiful<33

Ok. This. Was. Not. A. Mistake. At. All. Read. It!!!!!!!! *There will be a spoiler at the end but don't worry because I will stop you before you can see it!!*

Trigger warning: death, starvation, payment for sexual acts, recreational and self-medicating drug use, emotional manipulation, attempted suicide, depression, and violence

So the story is about this girl named Addie and we see her and her family in the first chapters. She then feels very controlled and she turned out to make a deal with the

This books was very slow, I guarantee if I read the physical copy I never would have finished it. I have the audiobook on 2 times speed since chapter one. I think the reason I didn’t like it is because there is no action. It felt very mundane to me. Of course I loved the romance but I couldn’t fully understand the concept of Luke. There was a lot of French a time line I could not keep up with. I really wanted to like this book. It was a good concept but poor execution

Everyone kept telling me to read this monster of a book because it was popular and well-written and all that. Of course, I tend to lean toward the arcane more than the mainstream, but then I thought, well - as a reviewer (who is really trying to expanding her horizons - NY Resoultion!!) I should give it a go. And I'm really glad I did. It was wonderfully written with such a unique and interesting idea - about a woman who makes a deal and can live forever...but never be remembered by anyone. This ...more
