I am on a tear reading these novels. This second time around (at least until book 8) has me seeing some new things that I missed the first time.
Here, the book follows Mat and his developing luck, Perrin and his new abilities, and finally the three ladies Nynaeve, Egwene, Elayne and their ability to gum up the works.
Also Jordan weaves in various myths and stories into the book to really drive home that this is a world where it seems all myths are true, and everything is a retelling of those myth ...more
