This novel fits into one of my favourite genres: historical fiction!
It is full of insightful analysis of Jane Austen and her characters, and holds many parallels to an Austen plot, but is also a wonderful novel on its own! It made me want to re-read all of Austen’s novels again, and add the few I haven’t read yet to my list!
