This book is a bilingual book. I like this book because it gives the perspective of one boy of his friend. Throughout the book he describes their friendship, and at the end it reveals the friend sitting in a wheelchair. I like the normalcy of this book, but I don't really like that it is waited until the story is over to reveal. I think that is when students can be questioned about what they learned in the book. I would recommend this book ideally for first graders, kindergarten could also read this as well. This book is realistic fiction.
