What Members Thought
This realistic fiction story exposes children to a different lifestyle while also being age appropriate. It includes a rich plot and presents a problem with a resolution. The illustrations correspond wonderfully to the text and add to the storyline. This story is developmentally appropriate for elementary-aged children and can be adapted to all grade level curriculums. It not only introduces children to a different lifestyle, but it also teaches understanding and sympathy as well.
