This book was awesome in the respect of our topic. This was about a boy who had mixed grandparents. The best thing I thought about his grandparents was that the story was not explicitly about his grandparents being a mixed couple. Instead the illustrations showed that they were mixed. The story itself is about his grandparents' kitchen. The "hello, goodbye window" is their kitchen window. It then goes into what is in the kitchen and what e does with his grandparents in their kitchen. As a whole, the story is very cute and sweet. It also shows the different types of families.
