I first read this book in 2004 and loved it. I just re-read this book on audio during a long car ride, and I liked it almost as much. The narration is great and the story kept my interest (and kept me awake) during the long trip. It is an endearing book about a boy named Christopher with Asperger's syndrome, who pushes himself to overcome his fears to find his mother. I really enjoyed the narration and structure of the book.
