What Members Thought

This is my favorite book of all time. At this point, it honestly feels forever attached to my soul. So, I figured I should probably write down a review and some of my thoughts.
Little Women is not a story of adventure. It is not some grand epic. It is the story of sisters. Surprisingly feminist for the time, the novel follows (from oldest to youngest) Meg, Jo, Beth, & Amy as they grow up. As often described, it is a story of domestic struggles.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK
So apparently Jo was supposed to be forever single but Poor Louisa May was pressurized by the society men and some simply despicable women to marry off all the march sisters.
An obviously ticked off Louisa May decided to kill of one of the march sisters (so that she could stick to her original plan and let one of the sisters never marry- And no you can't change my mind on this)
and then makes Jo marry her stout, balding but has VERY beautiful smile, 40 year old pro ...more

I couldn't even get past the drag of a prologue. I'm sorry but I couldn't do it- I gave it my best.
