What Members Thought

"The deal is the deal."
Wow! I did hope for the hype to be real with Six of Crows but this is incredible! Everything about this book was awesome: plot, characters, world-building, writing. I'm having a hard time imagining Six of Crows ever getting a critical review from a reader of any taste. The never ending scheming of Kaz Brekker, supported by the most unique crew imaginable, unfolds one of the most entertaining and original stories I've ever read.
"Kaz Brekker didn't need a reason."

reading it again five years later after watching shadow and bone. and yes.

my childhood!!!!!! I love this book.
Completely satisfied to be jumping headfirst into the hype whilst chanting "no mourners, no funerals" as if it's my last breath on earth.
I was about to give up on the YA fantasy genre, but Six of Crows showed me how cliches can be convincing and crazy, showed me how adventure and camaraderie is not lost, showed me truly how escapism into a world not of our own is.

“Six of Crows” by Leigh Bardugo has been an exciting and fun ride as I joined the crew from Ketterdam on an impossible heist.
So I was introduced to the Six of Crow characters through the popular Netflix show Shadow & Bone. I also know through the grapevine that there are spoilers in the second season of Crooked Kingdom—the second book in the Six of Crow series. So clearly, I wanted to do a chapter-by-chapter summary on my podcast before watching a show.

“Kaz leaned back. "What's the easiest way to steal a man's wallet?"
"Knife to the throat?" asked Inej.
"Gun to the back?" said Jesper.
"Poison in his cup?" suggested Nina.
"You're all horrible," said Matthias.”
I think this is the first book I've ever read where I wholeheartedly loved every single one of the main characters. LIKE TALK ABOUT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. This lived up to every single expectation I had. I NEED A MOMENT TO SIT DOWN AND JUST THINK ABOUT HOW GREAT THIS WAS.

OMG, this book is the best thing that I see since cake.
It´s so amazing and so memorable and I just want to show it to everyone so everybody could read and get addictive to It like I am. The thing that I like the most about six of crows is the characters. I love them. They are so unique and different from each other, but together they make an amazing crew. I have to say that Inej is my favourite. She is so powerful and strong and that scene when she is climbing, OMG girl you got me in that scene ...more

Leigh Bardugo is my new favorite author. Hands down.
He needed to tell her...what? That she was lovely brave and better than anything he deserved. That he was twisted, crooked, wrong, but not so broken that he couldn’t pull himself together into some semblance of a man for her. That without meaning to, he began to lean on her, to look for her, to need her near. There are too many good quotes to choose from, but this one is one of the more romantic ones from Kaz Brekker.

**Infinite / 5**
I am mind blown by Leigh Bardugo's writing.
The only problem was that I couldn't put it down. It kept me hooked all night.
I can't put into words what I felt cause I still am digesting everything. Words won't even do any justice here.
The plot. The storyline . The characters . The momens. Everything was perfect!!
The background of the characters were so well portrayed which brought out the originality of the book.
