So the story is about this girl named Addie and we see her and her family in the first chapters. She then feels very controlled and she turned out to make a deal with the Ok. This. Was. Not. A. Mistake. At. All. Read. It!!!!!!!! *There will be a spoiler at the end but don't worry because I will stop you before you can see it!!*

So the story is about this girl named Addie and we see her and her family in the first chapters. She then feels very controlled and she turned out to make a deal with the devil (This is not a spoiler). It has been 300 years since someone remembers her, and because someone finally does...she feels very excited and tries to spend as much time as she can with him. In the end...love saved the day...and that's the only thing that annoyed me...but other than that...I LOVED IT!!!!!

The characters
Addie-She was a powerful female character, in my opinion, and even though she made a deal with the devil, she didn't give in for over 300 years!!

Henry-he was depressed, he was anxious and his friends and family represented all the problems that he was going through. I felt like that was written very well and in a metaphoric way.

Luc-I don't even know what to say about this guy...I HATE HIM AND I LOVE HIM!!! So...I hate him because HOW COULD HE DO THIS TO POOR ADDIE...but I also LoVeD the way that VE Shwab had presented him and how he occurred!!

Overall, I would rate the book 4.9 ONLY because of the ending and that ANNOYED THE HECK Out OF ME The only reason why I'm not giving it 4.75, is because the cat's name is BOOK!!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE I LOVE ITT aaaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

STOP HERE IF YOU HAVENT READ THE BOOK BECAUSE I WILL COME TO YOUR HOUSE, AND SMACK YOU...jk jk don't worry but I don't want the book beating spoiled for you!!

Definitely the deal with the devil trope that is worth reading. This is so wonderfully written with lots and lots of life lessons to pick up and learn. It’s kind of hard to get there, but you’ll suddenly see yourself so hooked with this one. Addie will always have a special place in my heart <3333
