Me tomó tiempo enamorarme del libro. Con Persuasión fue amor instantáneo, sigue siendo mi favorito al momento. Éste tiene un segundo lugar. Me identifico con Elizabeth y Mary, una combinación de ambas. Darcy...kind of cute I guess. I like him a bit better. Captain Wentworth tiene el primer lugar en mi corazón de los hombres que ha creado Austen.

Encantador y divertido. Sin mencionar que nada pudo evitar que me enamora de Darcy. Es increíble de muchas formas, es comprensible el porqué es considerado un clásico que debe leerse.
Y honestamente es muy divertido, la madre de Elizabeth si bien nos causa estrés y nos da pie a sentir vergüenza termina teniendo junto al padre de las mejores frases y momentos. Considerando la época en la que fue escrito es un libro audaz y sumamente entretenido.

My rating has gone down a star because of how my rating system has changed and become stricter, not because I didn't enjoy this. The original romance! I love the setting and atmosphere of this. The romance is great. My one complain was Elizabeth's embarrassment over her family irked me a little and the repeated use of "condescension" began to get on my nerves a little bit. That aside, I'm glad I read this one again. ...more
