despite it’s size this is NOT an easy book to read. the plot is surreal and the story can be interpreted in so many ways. like there is the obvious political aspect, but you can see it as allegory on death, or allegory on mental decay and depression - losing oneself and joy or memory of things you once were, there is the whole story of typewriter which can be interpreted for abusive relationship that one was not able to escape from … there is so much. and it was wonderful but now i feel numb and
