Technically, this is teen fiction, but I think everyone who loves a great love story and wants to believe that there is magic in the world should read this book. Magical is exactly what this book is. Not just because it's about a girl and her werewolf. Because it's told with depth and beauty, creating a world you want to loose yourself in. There are many reasons why it took me so long to read this book. But the main and most important reason is because I did not like it at all! It was tortuous to me. I kept plugging on because so many people I know have liked it, but I really shouldn't have wasted my time. I want to say that it redeemed itself in the end a little, but it really didn't. Grace is attacked by wolves as a child and is fascianted by the wolves in the woods ever since. Esp. the one with the golden eyes. Sam is that wolf and after years of watching each other they finally connect and their lives change.
An interesting take on the werewolf genre. Where temperature causes the change and some very interesting characters as a result.
