Trovo che Rovelli sia un grande divulgatore, anche se un po' sulla scia del marchese del Grillo (io so' io e voi non siete un ca...), e anche stavolta i suoi excursus dalla fisica alla filosofia mi hanno dato parecchio da pensare. Come sempre mi piacerebbe affermare senza tema di essere smentita di aver capito tutto, ma anche stavolta é meglio mantenere un certo riserbo sulla mia percentuale di comprensione di quanto letto. ...more

I love this man! He mentions God just in passing but with respect and uses the feminine pronoun. In discussing the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment, he refers to "sleeping draught" instead of lethal drug. He quotes Shakespeare and Douglas Adams! More importantly (I guess) he writes with clarity, grace, and a bit of humor. Not that I understood all of it, but I did enjoy it all. ...more
