I very much enjoyed Mukherjee’s book about cancer, The Emperor of All Maladies (definitely worth a read). This one was a little slow and a little dry for me. I think that it may have been more engaging if I didn’t already know the vast majority of the information. The story is a little meandering but if you want to understand the cell then it is a great read. There was a lot of great information of modern cellular therapy and a great history of the discovery of the cell and how it works. Lots o
