This book does a great job of explaining exactly what is going on inside our bodies when we eat, and spelling out exactly what scientists know and don't know at this stage. There is plenty of discussion about theories that are still unproven, but you're never left uncertain about anything.

Also, he manages to keep you interested throughout, which is surprising given that he is talking a lot about the results of studies and trying to give you enough information about each study for you to underst ...more
