Words seriously eluded me for awhile after reading The Crown of Gilded Bones. It was a lot to process and it’s hard to describe how insanely intense and ridiculously beautiful this book is, and then the pressure of writing a review that is deserving of it! I’m not complaining though!

Not exaggerating, Chapter One will leave you gasping for breath as will every single chapter. The story is constantly propelling forward so be prepared!
There are crowns and betrayals, strengthened friendships, heart clenching love that makes you swoon, and several....showers!

Poppy steps up from being a badass to an epic badass, with Casteel by her side. Their relationship is one of a kind and I love how genuine they are with one another, even when they face the impossible...and believe me, they do. Casteel and Poppy have so many things to sort out that it would seem overwhelming for mundanes like me, but not these two who are always up for ANYTHING!

I didn’t think I could fall more in love with Keiran and Delano, Jasper too, but it happened and more love for VONETTA!! The Wolven have my heart! The fondness continues to grow between Kieran and Poppy. As aspects change around them, they adapt and keep up the healthy dose of banter and develop an enduring friendship. There are new characters that will work their way into a part of you like almost every Jennifer Armentrout character brings to life!

Many questions are answered throughout this book as there are some shocking revelations in the history of Atlantia, Poppy’s parentage, and more, MUCH more, that open so many doors that you may have to pick your jaw up from the floor. Of course, this causes Poppy to have questions, but you have the same questions now and we need answers! Kieran isn’t much help in the answering department... sigh... joking— we love Kieran!

This is the third book. If you have read JLA, she tends to end her books with a twist. You will not be let down and you will be counting the days until book four! It took me awhile to digest everything that happens. This story, these friendships, will stay with you!This is one of the best books I’ve had the honor of reading. ...more
