What an amazing journey this book took me on! I loved how it is like nothing else I have ever read before. The storyline was fast paced and exhilarating. I loved how relatable Cinder's feelings were, even though I have never been through half the stuff she has, that's just how real the author made it. Oh, and don't forget the twists that leave you with you jaw on the floor! I can't wait to continue this amazing series! ...more

I absolutely loved this book. I stayed up from 3am-9am reading this. I usually dont care for Cinderella things, but I love this retelling. I'm so excited to read the other books. I'm so fascinated by this universe. ...more

A nice retelling of Cinderella in a science fiction setting. I knew where the story was going in places. But it did a good job with creating Cinder. I look forward to reading more of the series.

I dnfed this the first time I tried to read it but I decided to give it another shot and really, I'm a little glad I did. As a retelling, the reader has to expect some predictability in the plot. That said, while I knew where it was going, the world building made for a mostly enjoyable experience. I don't yet know if I'll continue the series, but I'm glad I gave this one another shot. ...more
