I read the first book, then eagerly awaited this, the second, Whispering. And was not let down! Every chapter is a roller-coaster of emotions, scares, and terror. The main character Candice is followed relentlessly by not just one but several terrifying creatures and ghosts that leave her questioning her own sanity when hardly anyone believes her claims of being haunted and stalked.

This fun and creepy book reminded me of some early 2000s horror movies with the feel, atmosphere, and the way I saw it in my mind. I enjoy the trope of a family moving to a small town to start over and then end up getting terrorized by whatever is in the small town. I had a great time reading this in the dark!
