What Members Thought
A classic for a reason. A complete study on empathy and humanity. I understand why this is THE book you read in school, although it took me many years to truly understand its meaning. Everyone should read this book. Without exception.
This love captures the true expression of love for one's fellow man without prejudice for lifestyle, creed or colour. The first half I thought, at first, was well written if a bit dull. By the second half I was deeply emotionally invested. I'm so glad I read this, I can easily say this is one of my favourite books.
EDIT: My 2nd read to celebrate my 500th book on Goodreads: I enjoyed the entire story more this time around, with the wisdom and themes from Atticus bursting through each chapter. I lo ...more
