Nan’s Mango Rash was a wonderful distraction during the coronavirus stay-at-home order. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about her love affair with the South Pacific island of Samoa. Her artistic flair for descriptions transported me to the “postcard perfect stretches of sand” and helped me live vicariously through her angst of self discovery relating to boys, friendships, parental boundaries and home.
