What Members Thought
The Book of Lost Things might be the perfect transition point for a young adult reader making the leap to more mature reading. Like its protagonist, all the elements of childhood and safety are there, but the growth needed to reach the end necessitates a move toward a darker, more pragmatic take on the old tales (though to the book's strength, compassion is a major element as well).
