This came strongly recommended and I did indeed enjoy it thoroughly, had to finish it today before getting to my work because I couldn't concentrate for wondering how it turned out. Ursula Todd keeps living her life over and over and over again, and as an observant reader you can see bits and pieces of the puzzle throughout the lives. The books begins with a pivotal scene and it comes again at the end, but is ambiguous, so I still don't know if it was real, as in the final version of her life, o

Not the best book I've read this year, but original (not in the what-might-happen-if-Hitler-was-killed sense, but in the reincarnation sense). I appreciated the author's ability to remind us of past or future lives in subtle ways, she respects the reader's intelligence and investment in the story. A thoroughly enjoyable character, and what a family!
