There are terrible, awful people in this world. The protagonist of Worst. Person. Ever. might be one of them, but he's also unbelievable. His inner monologues come off more as someone trying to be funny and crass than having any real commitment to the character reciting them. There are some brief entertaining paragraphs, but if Raymond Gunt's behavior doesn't make you want to throw the book across the room, its repetitive and unremarkable description might. ...more
