The fact that I’ve read this again and still feel the sparks from the first time is amazing 🤩!! Their love is unconventional, scary and built on lies in the beginning but they are electric together. This one was really very different and there were parts I didn’t like too much, such as the h being a dominatrix-lite. However, she didn’t enjoy inflicting pain, which made it tolerable. She enjoyed controlling his male aggression and then letting it be unleashed. It was not exactly my cuppa, but it wasn’t skin-crawling horrible either. And she was able to still be soft and feminine with him, as well, so I ended up enjoying it.
