This light mystery, with two intrepid heroines, is just what's needed for a winter read. Violet and Mabel stumble onto a dead body and are determined to solve the mystery, since Mabel's wild golf swing sent her ball into the deceased's head...were they already dead? I enjoyed the adventure, the relationship between the two women, their spunky attitude, and the piling up of clues that put their lives in danger.

I loved it! Mabel and Violet are a hoot. The mystery kept me guessing and I chase scene still makes me chuckle.
Wayward Shot is a fun read with engaging characters and a fun take on a murder investigation.
Loved it! The humour, the setting, the story twists, all good!
