The thing I love most about this book is the characters. They are so perfectly imperfect, so real. They drew me into their world, and I was really invested in their development. I lost a best friend at a young age so I could relate to the story and characters on many levels. Even though it's a serious topic to address, the author paces the story nicely and balances dark moments with light and serious with humor.
