The House of Hades is the 4th installment of the Heroes of Olympus. At the end of The Mark of Athena (book #3) two of the main characters Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson fall into a pit that leads to the underworld. The other 5 characters Leo, Piper, Jason, Hazel, and Frank have to race against time to get to the Doors of Death which is the exit from the Underworld in order to save Annabeth and Percy, and also close them so no monsters could escape anymore. The first half of this was a little slower for me, but the second half was some of my favorite development so far within the Percy-verse.
