I’m not really sure how to rate this properly. It’s well-written and engrossing, but incredibly sad in the sense of inevitable defeat. It’s also far to easy to imagine a world like this story’s as society has always looked away from horror aimed at those deemed “lesser”.
Ok wow. That was intense. I don't think I've ever read something like this before.
It's about normal kids, growing up to become normal people with normal problems when it comes to love and friendship... right? No, there's something else. Something unsettling, like a background noise that never goes away. And that makes the relationship between the three main characters so more fragile.
