Experimental Film had moments of genuine creep factor (hello, disembodied goddess voice on a toy recorder??), but overall this book was kind of a mess for me.
Let’s start with the structure: weird time jumps everywhere. Some eventually tied back in, but others felt like info dumps the main character didn’t even have access to.
