(CW at the end, because there was some stuff I was not expecting and I think could be triggering for some.) I picked this up for free last year, and if I'd realized how entertaining it would be I wouldn't have waited so long to read it. This wasn't anything earth-shattering but it was a fun urban fantasy novel and I enjoyed it. The mystery was fun, the characters had personality and the magic system was interesting.
