I’ve had my eye on this novel for a few months and so being on the other side of this now being a book I can consider as something I’ve read feels triumph. Reading a story about four generations of a one family could’ve been overly complex but Lee’s writing style is so immersive yet refined that the world building was very natural and realistic as a reader.
