The pacing in the first of the trilogy is great. Got through it no problem. The second was very slow and I struggled to maintain interest in the plot and to keep reading. It picks up back in the third, but at this point, I find it hard to bounce back and forth between the narrator’s story lines, but I found that I did really enjoy Masami Aomame as a character. I admit, I actually stopped reading before finishing the third book, so maybe once I have motivation I’ll finish.
