What Members Thought

Cosmos was part fascinating and part too detailed. I enjoyed the chapters discussing galaxies near and far to our humble home. Dr. Sagan's book taught me many new facts about solar neighbors and those who studied the stars. I loved reading about how very early scientists were able to note and prove the Earth was round and could closely determine its approximate size. Did Einstein's teachers really say he would never amount to anything? Later chapters lost my interest at times, especially Chapter
