Ok first want to start by saying i enjoyed this much more than i thought! I read norwegian wood by haruki murakami a few years ago and found it kind of bland and boring. I didnt know what to expect of this, but was pleasantly surprised. However, did not get 5 stars from me for a number of reasons. First off, the sexual encounters were very off putting to me, and i almost feel the book wouldve been better without them. Second, i have so many questions left unanswered. Ce livre est un ovni. Un ovni méticuleusement bâti, fait de rouages qu’on peine à comprendre mais qui sont pourtant tous liés de manière logique.
Cette lecture a été une porte d’entrée vers le monde mystique de Murakami qui est à la fois ô si hilarant et ô si profond. Le colonel Sanders comme concept transcendant? Des chats qui parlent? Des fantômes d’un bonheur passé? Tout est là, et mille autres mystères encore.
