Honestly, I can't remember when was the last time when I gave a book 5★.
Before I start reading this book, I had seen people say that reading this novel is like growing up with Yunjae. It's true.
His conversations and relationship with Dr. Shim is golden. He is the father-figure in Yunjae's life. But the bond between Gon and Yunjae is what made the book so amazing. I am touched by the way how Gon is finally able to open-up and how Yunjae can find a friend in someone.

First of all, I began to read this book because I saw Namjoon and Yoongi from BTS recommending it and I'm so glad they did. I personally found this story especially compelling and in a different setting, I don’t think it would have the same impact. I love that BTS is recommending books that make commentary on Korean society and overall, I loved the fresh YA/coming-of-age story, which this certainly is. Me gustó mucho, me hizo sufrir un montón tambien, aunque me quede con ganas de ver mas del protagonista y el nuevo Goni. Sentí que el final fue muy rápido y quizás me hubiera gustado un par de capitulos más

I have read this book in my third language. Books are written in simple language. The story line is neither too fast nor too slow.
I was really freaked out when there were 10 pages left and Yunjae got injured. Just like the translator wrote, I feel like between Yunjae and Gon is something beyond the definition of friendship.
I would recommend this for anyone. 🫶🏻
