Read this as a young one, enjoyed it at the time. I was just discovering romantic fantasy, however, so I found myself wishing there was a bit more in the series. Overall, it was fun. Who doesn't like dragons and elves and magic? As a small town and home schooled girl myself, the story and author were both relatable. This book would be good for a young person that is transitioning from softer fantasy books but is not yet ready for the intensity of LoTR. ...more
