-Why we forget the past
-The downside of groupthink
-Why we put too much trust in those in authority
-Why evil is more striking than good
-Why teams are lazy
-How rewards destroy productivity
-Why a good start often leads to disaster
-How first impressions sabotage us

This book is not exactly a self help book - I thought it was. Rather it points out a series (close to 100) of thinking biases which we are prone to. The examples are excellent, and I definitely recommend it for reading..

A very good compendium of biases, logical errors and cognitive fallacies. Unfortunately, the examples are not always the most accurate ones and tend to err on the side of sensationalism at the expense of scientific soundness. All in all, however, it is an enjoyable read.
