I was a bit disappointed in this book, finding it more maudlin than it was important. It is definitely a weeper, but one in which I didn't think I profited enough. It still makes me feel guilty about my lower rating, kind of like saying ill of the dead. ...more

Having boasted sales of 11 million copies worldwide, it's hard to argue against this being a great non-fiction book. Though I don't normally like non-fiction, this is still a good read with many important life lessons.

I think there is something for everyone in this novel, whether that be a lesson itself, or just to see Morrie's fantastic positive attitude and humour while terminally ill. It was both uplifting and heartbreaking to read, and I would happily recommend it to anyone. Try not to spee ...more
