I think about Ryan as the modern author that brings Philosophy to the common people. He's very clear on his ideas, the book full of references, not just from Seneca, Marcus Aurelius and their gang.

For me, the most incredible history that I will take with me will be the history of how Malcolm X learn to read only with a dictionary, a pen and a block of paper sheets. I’ve finished this book with a lot of pleasure as a big fan from Ryan Holiday work and ewpecially the obstacle is the way and the daily stoic, was i very intrigued to read this book.

This book showed me to put ego outside that even you do hard work don’t expect a reward. Ego is our biggest enemy if we use it can make everything worse.
