It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.
..what can I say? I liked how it's written (although I haven't read it in Portuguese), I liked the idea of the journey and the journey itself... but... I had a strong The Secret vibe I couldn't leave behind. A magical journey, very much connected to mindfulness and finding inner peace by following one’s heart and destiny. The religious and mystical elements are intriguing and entertaining, but a little bit repetitive after a while - we get it, the boy learnt to reach the Soul of the World. I had heard great things about this book and its ability to change your outlook on life and so on and I agree that if you are person who likes self help books and spirituality then you will enjoy this book I guess.
