This book is not good (AKA Crap). I don't think that this book is appropriate for school aged kids. The themes portrayed in this book are about hardship and suffering. Only the ending of this book is good as it ends on a positive note. Overall I wouldn't recommend this book.

Very interesting book and shows a different side to a childhood. Harper and Tin share a close bond and they spend a lot of time together. She struggles with Tin as he has a mind of his own as they stay away from the house after the new baby had been born. This book shows a very imperfect childhood and Harper having to look after Tin as their parents are busy. Quite a good book.
