I loved everything single thing about this book. Characters I didn't like at the beginning grew and changed and I loved them by the end. MARCELLUS THE OCTOPUS THOUGH GAHHHHH ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕

I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical of a book featuring an anthropomorphic octopus, but this was an incredible read.

I loved this book for the way she had several characters narrate the story (including the octopus), and the way she drove the story to an emotional conclusion with the discovery of the grandson/grandmother relationship and Marcellus’s return to the sea. It was cute but it really dragged at some parts. There were seemingly 2 arcs to this story. I was content with the first arc ending at the midway point since I’d assumed the ending correctly. A good book for those who love character driven comfort reads.
Loved every minute of this one!
