A slow start, but started to pick up interest about 1/3 of the way in. Overall I liked the concept, but I felt a little let down by the ending. I enjoyed the book though, and am interested in checking out some of Emily’s other books.

Another beautiful, sometimes haunting, fascinating novel from Mandel. Highly recommend!

I can’t explain what it is about it, but I loved this book. It was so clever and so concise. I wasn’t sure what the ending was even going to bring until it was there. I just felt like there should have been a little more in the middle?
