I would probably call this one a cozy mystery. I read it for book club. It took me longer than I thought it would. I was entertained but I just didn't like Finlay all that much and the coincidences were a bit over the top. I did enjoy Vero's character though. She was funny and a real problem solver, ulike Finlsy who ust kept waiting for another guy to come distract her. I'll probably go head and read the second book at some point though it's not going to be a priority.

Watch out Stephanie Plum - - you have a little competition with Finlay!
This book was the most delightful surprise, charming and witty and just plain fun. Suspend your belief and just go along for the ride. So cute!!
I’d give this a 4.5! Fun, fast read!
