[close] I managed to read both the Six Of Crows duology as well as King Of Scars before it occurred to me that Shadow And Bone was the book that started it all! I have never read multiple series that had the same setting and were intricately woven together. So I was thinking, "Why not start from the beginning?" Actually, this was a book I had checked out twice before, but was so caught up in life that I never had the chance to open it. Well, better late than never! Based on what I read from Six Of Crows and King Of Scars, I can tell this series will be a good one (even though a few plot points have already been revealed to me due to not reading the series in proper order).

In my personal opinion, it was pretty good! I may have an odd perspective of the book, because I read it after reading the Six Of Crows Duology and King Of Scars. I had no clue that the series were connected until I was a few chapters into King Of Scars. I had a very strong feeling that the information that was told was the plot of a completely different book, and sure enough, I checked the synopsis of Shadow And Bone and I was correct.
