This book is well-deserving of the award it has been given. Laini Taylor showed amazing imagery, deep emotion, and the perfect amount of prediction and surprise with a touch of humor and wittiness. When I read the synopsis for Strange The Dreamer, I was expecting something more along the lines of traditional fantasy.
